Natte Valleij’s old cape Dutch buildings have been home to quite a few interesting people. One of these was an Italian prisoner of war (P.O.W.) exiled to the Cape during the Second World War. The inscription P.O.W. B.T. 27/12/1943 is the only reminder of his stay. This hand-crafted, limited release Bordeaux-style blend is made in his honour. The wine is traditionally vinified and matured for 36 months in large oak barrels.
